MendAccess
Terms

Terms of service

Written to be read. If any of it seems unclear, ask before you engage us.

Who you are contracting with

MendAccess is a service operated by Parveen Sharma. It is not yet incorporated, and invoices and agreements are issued in that name.

What we do

We scan an agreed set of pages, triage the findings by hand, write out the fixes, and deliver an evidence package. Where the engagement includes it, we support remediation and re-scan to verify.

What we do not do

We do not provide legal advice, and nothing we deliver is a legal opinion. We do not certify compliance with the ADA, WCAG, or anything else — no automated method can, and we will not pretend otherwise. An audit reports what was found on a date, by a named method.

Authorization

You confirm in writing that you are authorized to permit testing of the site and scope agreed. We do not begin without it. If the scope changes, we ask again.

Scope and caps

Each engagement states its scope: the site, the number of template types, the number of content items, and the revision rounds included. Work beyond it is quoted before it is done. We would rather agree a cap than discover one.

Your responsibilities

Fixes land in your codebase, by you or your developer. We can write the change and explain it; we cannot deploy it. Third-party apps and embeds are reported but are the vendor's to fix.

Limits of liability

Our liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for it. We are not liable for claims, penalties or losses arising from the accessibility of your site — we are engaged to find and help fix problems, not to insure against them.

Payment and cancellation

Invoiced on delivery unless agreed otherwise. Cancel before work starts and you owe nothing; cancel during and you owe the work done to that point.

Changes

If these terms change, the version in force is the one you were sent when you engaged us. We will not apply a later version retroactively.
